Solve that Problem!

Today Miss Widdison gave us a problem to solve.

The Challenge...
We had 6 squares and we had to arrange them into as many different positions as possible.

The Rules!
1. You are only allowed to use a position one time.
2. All squares must be touching another square.
3. A square must touch another edge NOT a corner.
Sarah shows her excellent problem solving skills

Before recording the work, Max and Noura tried the practical side

Naomi carefully considers the order of the tiles
How many different ways will Cassie and Daniel find?

Edward thinks carefully about his decisions!

Mayil arranged the tiles in 17 different ways - well done!
